For any type of fishing, there's an app to assist the experience. Whether it's planning the tides, identifying a fish or simply keeping contact with the outside world (ie. telling your partner what time you'll be home), your phone is an important tool on any fishing expedition.
So you want to keep it easily accessible, but most importantly, safe and secure when you're out on the water. This is where Quad Lock comes into play.
Quad Lock 360™ allows anglers to build their own mount to fit securely on their kayak. Whether you're sporting a Hobie, Bonafide, 3 Waters or another kayak, the various Quad Lock 360™ bases mean you can mount on either the Accessory Rail or Accessory Platform easily.
Firstly, you want to select your mounting head. The Quad Lock Lever Head features a dual-stage lock to keep your phone secure on the mount. The patented lock is also easy to attach and detach with one hand. Making your phone quickly accessible when needed.
Secondly, choose your arm. If you want a bit of length, we recommend the Dual Pivot - Medium Arm. With 75mm clearance, this arm has preload tension, which makes for easy adjustability on the go to set your mount at the optimal viewing angle.
There are multiple options to choose from when it comes to Bases.
If you're wanting to mount to your Accessory Rail, you could use one of the two Bar Clamps.
The small bar clamp is suitable for bars with a diameter from 10mm (⅜") - 16mm (⅝") and the medium bar clamp is suitable for bars with a diameter of 22mm (⅞") - 32mm (1-¼").
If you want to mount to your Accessory Platform, our 2 hole Flat Rectangle Base is your best option. This base uses the universal AMPs hole spacing standard. The base is 68.5mm (2.7") long x 28mm (1.1") wide x 14mm (0.55") high.
